Starting with no prior STEM Racing experience, Antoan and his team went on to become UK National Finalists in just four months, picking up three awards along the way. His STEM Racing journey helped him develop technical and teamwork skills, while giving him valuable insight into careers in engineering and motorsport.

First exposed to STEM Racing in junior school, James got the competition bug and spent the next six years taking part - progressing from Regionals to Nationals and culminating in the Aramco STEM Racing World Finals 2023. Now working at Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team™, his passion is now his full-time career. 

From winning Regional and UK National titles to competing on the world stage with STEM Racing, Javier developed skills that led to work placements with Williams Racing and Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains, before returning to Mercedes-AMG HPP as a placement engineer during his Mechanical Engineering degree.

STEM Racing sparked Ryan’s passion for engineering, teaching him hands‑on skills in design, testing, and problem-solving that paved the way to university, Formula Student, and a trackside career in Formula 1.

Currently working as a Manufacturing Apprentice at Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, Logan Griffiths expanded his skills in CAD, CAM, and CNC machining during his time competing in STEM Racing, which enabled his team to reach the national stage of the UK competition, and secure his placement within Formula 1.

Now working as a Mechanical Structural Analysis Engineer at Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, George’s role sees him leverage engineering theory and computer modelling to ensure the structural reliability, safety, and optimum performance of mechanical components.

Following a three-year F1 in Schools journey which saw him form part of Evolve UK - the F1 in Schools 2019 World Champions - Lewis has pursued his childhood passion for design and engineering all the way through university to a fantastic role at Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1.

Part of Evolve UK, 2019 World Champions, George had an incredibly successful journey in the competition, and is currently undertaking a placement year as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Red Bull Powertrains.
