Developed to be accessible to all, the programme is segmented into categories tailored by age and experience. Each class builds on the fundamentals – design, analyse, make, test, race, and project management, with added complexity as teams progress.

STEM Racing Discovery
An all-in-one classroom project
(Age 6+)
STEM Racing Discovery is the perfect first step into the competition. Students design, make, test, and race without needing to attend an event.
Suitable for all ages, Discovery can be ran as a standalone project or training for the competition, and guarantees an exciting and educational experience.
STEM Racing Primary
Igniting the spark of innovation early
(Ages 9–11)
In STEM Racing Primary, students create paper cars that can be raced in the classroom and at events, alongside creating wider project work including portfolios, verbal presentations and pit displays.
Teams are able to compete in regional and national competitions.
STEM Racing Secondary
From apprentice to master.
(Ages 11–19)
STEM Racing Secondary progresses through classes, from Entry to Development to Professional. Teams can graduate from one to the next at their own pace.
This multidisciplinary experience prepares young people for real-world careers and offers them a chance to compete at an international level.
