About STEM Racing

The classroom competition for boundary-breakers, change-makers, and future industry-shakers.

Inspiring the Future

Hands-on learning that equips young people with real-world STEM skills - igniting curiosity, confidence, and ambition that lasts a lifetime, both in and beyond the classroom.

Global & Inclusive

A not-for-profit programme present in 60+ countries, uniting students and educators across cultures to remove barriers, open opportunities and provide hands-on STEM experiences.

Supported by Formula 1

Supported by the world’s most exciting sport, STEM Racing connects the classroom to industry - combining fun with future career pathways, and making dream roles a reality.

For the past twenty-five years, STEM Racing has sparked innovation in thousands of young people across the globe. By designing, making, and racing their own miniature racing cars, students don’t just learn about STEM, they live it.

Made for students, designed for teachers, and supported by Formula 1, STEM Racing gives pupils the fast track to STEM success, and a lot of fun along the way.

Our Competition

STEM Racing challenges students to build their own version of an F1® team. Working in groups of 3 - 6, they design, develop, and race their miniature cars while managing every aspect of their project.

Regional events lead to national finals, and the very best earn the chance to represent their country on the global STEM stage at the Aramco STEM Racing World Finals.
