The collaboration will deliver a pioneering online learning platform and establish the first “Motorsport Valley” STEM Racing Centre of Excellence - a landmark initiative to expand opportunities in STEM for students. The programme was unveiled during the Aramco STEM Racing World Finals, held alongside the Singapore Grand Prix.
The new online learning platform will provide classroom-ready resources and self-led modules designed to close the STEM education gap. Over the next three years, it aims to reach more than 100,000 students globally, offering hands-on learning opportunities and supporting communities with limited access to STEM education.
STEM Racing will also collaborate with the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team to feature expert voices from inside motorsport, giving students unique access to real-world STEM applications at the highest level of global motorsport.
The partnership will establish the first STEM Racing Centre of Excellence in Motorsport Valley. Building on STEM Racing’s presence in 65 countries and its impact on over 1.2 million students, the Centre will provide advanced STEM learning in CAD design, aerodynamics, CNC machining, project management, and marketing. Crucially, it will make it easier for students from previously underserved communities to take part in the STEM Racing Challenge, receive tailored support, and begin clear pathways into careers in engineering, mining, and technology.
To mark the launch, Maaden presented the Enterprise Portfolio Award at the World Finals in Singapore, won by Team Hyoku from Brazil. The award recognises students who combine STEM innovation with business skills in areas such as marketing, sponsorship, digital media, and sustainability.

Bob Wilt, CEO, Maaden commented: “Talent is integral to the growth and success of our organization over the coming years and a significant part of our partnership with Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team was our joint ability to access and inspire global youth. As an extension of this we are pleased to announce our new partnership with STEM Racing, where we will support and develop young talent to explore STEM related careers in both industries through a dedicated program.
“We are redefining Maaden, reinvigorating mining and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s economic growth, opportunity and diversification. We are doing something that has never been done before - creating a global mining powerhouse that will make Saudi Arabia an industrial hub for the future – and we want to be an employer of choice for the best and where leaders, of today and tomorrow, come to learn, evoke change and advance an industry.”
Debbie Wall, Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team ESG Director added: “At Aston Martin Aramco, we believe that creating a more sustainable future begins with investing in young people. Through initiatives like Make A Mark and programmes such as STEM Racing, we’re helping to unlock talent and inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators, and leaders who will drive the future of our sport and our planet.”

With this partnership, we’re scaling that impact like never before. Together with Maaden and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, we’re proud to be launching this global initiative to equip students with knowledge, inspiration, and hands-on experience.
“Discovering and developing the brightest minds - regardless of background - has always been core to our mission. This is about unlocking opportunity and giving students the tools to thrive in their future careers. We’re confident this partnership will help shape the future of motorsport, and more importantly, empower young people across the globe to thrive in STEM and beyond.”
