Global STEM challenge with Industry Credibility
An internationally recognised, Formula 1‑endorsed competition that blends design, engineering, branding, and presentation skills to give students a truly multidisciplinary learning experience.
Real-World Skills and Team Collaboration
Students aged 9-19 collaborate in teams of 3-6. Assigning roles and responsibilities, each individual takes ownership of a specific area, such as designing the car, manufacturing it, testing it or branding it.

The best part of STEM Racing? Our events give students the chance to put their hard work to the test – with cars assessed by expert scrutineers, head-to-head racing against other teams, and presentations to panels of judges.

1. Register
Quickly find your National Coordinator via the Country List to guide you through registration. Once signed up, you'll get all the materials and instructions you need to begin.
2. Design & Make
With a suite of resources, free industry software, and a dedicated team of educators to support you, create your STEM Racing car and complete your project work.
3. Compete
Once you're ready to race, you can join STEM Racing events - starting regionally and advancing to national and global competitions full of fun and excitement.
